Lisa is amazing. – Lisa has done my hair (color and styling), makeup, and eyebrows. Everything she has done has been amazing. The color was absolutely perfect - I had some blonde highlights that I wanted to cover up and she matched my hair exactly. Fabulous Carrie – Do yourself a favor and go to Carrie, I cannot say enough good things about her. I have been trying different high end salons since moving to the Houston area 2 years ago and I really wish I had found Carrie from the start, it would have saved me lots of unhappy visits to the hair salon. KATHY BARTLETT RULES NATURAL RED HAIR – I love being a natural red head. At least I did until I started turning grey and I was unable to match my natural color. Trish Lecourias- Master of Hair – Trish is such an amazing stylist, I have actually been with her for 6 years; I can say one thing- My hair never looks boring! She cuts into it after it 's dry personalizing it for me (which I have never had). My hair just fall into place. My color is amazing as well. You definitely get what you pay for.
Wonderful haircuts – I am just like Barbara, when Christina moved I thought it was going to be a black day fortunately my daughter Barbara found where she had moved to. When one loses their hair dresser it's as important as losing their doctor or minister. I've never had someone who gave me a better haircut and I promise to follow her where ever she goes. I have only one thing I would like to have changed and that is the parking but I will not let that make me move to a different salon.

Relaxed and fun atmosphere - an escape from the "real" world – My mother and I followed Christina from that place in the Village to Upper Hand. Once I find a stylist I can trust, I will follow him/her any where. Every time I get my hair done, I have pleasant and stimulating conversation, a little psychological therapy, a few laughs, a glass of wine - oh, yeah and a great haircut. What more could I ask for? I like the relaxed atmosphere at the Upper Hand. I hope Christina stays there, but I'll follow her if she ever moves.
Awesome hair stylist... Phillip Valt – I had frizzy, out of control hair before I found Phillip! When I starting going to him I didn't even know what a round brush was. My hair was the definition of "a bad hair day" everyday! He took the time out of his day on my first visit to teach me how to straighten my hair with just a round brush and a blowdryer ! John Rubio Ph.D – John Rubio should have a doctorate in hair, he is absolutely THE best stylist in Houston. I actually work at a different salon, but go to john because it is nice to be able to relax and he is so talented. His color techniques are amazing and he always puts me at ease with his sense of humor.
