I cannot say enough about the outstanding doctors and nurses of The University of Kansas Health System. My grandmother recently passed while under their care and, while our hearts are broken, one of the things that has kept us encouraged is the confidence we have in knowing that our grandmother could not have possibly received better care in her final hours. Their patience, their proactive communication & transparency, their genuine concern for our family; there's no way to adequately express our gratitude. Thank you and man... read more
if you go in with a problem they'll figure out what the problem is if they have to send you to three different floors to do it I love them.
The staff is very experienced.
I’ve worked at TUKHS for 28 years. I’ve made lifelong friendships here. For healthcare I would recommend for anyone who needs care and I would trust anyone here to take care of me or any of my family members!
The doctors are leaders in their field and give attentive, personal care. And the nurses are simply outstanding! They take the time to answer questions and will advocate for patients.
Doctor refuses to send me to an endocrinologist, though I have PCOS and ALL the symptoms of hypothyroid. Insists I should just have weight loss surgery instead. Like KEEPS bringing it up ALL THE TIME, after I have vehemently refused and said I will never be interested. Seems obsessed with blaming all my health problems on weight and won’t actually treat anything. Is there a kickback scheme happening like there was in Texas?
very good hospital, they genuinely care about you.
Because of a neurosurgeon and oncologists at KU Med Center, and the PT and OT at KU Rehab, my husband is able to walk again after suffering from a tumor compressing his spinal cord! Doctors at Mosaic in St. Joseph gave him only a 50/50 chance of walking again!
Excellent health care. Great Doctors. Great support staff.
