All the specialist Like all the health care personnel
My significant other was a patient for days in the covid unit. All the nurses and doctors were very informative and just all around wonderful people. I'd say if you want the best care for your loved ones. KU hospital should be the one you choose. They are the best team Forever thankful.
I will never willingly return to your facilities! I understand COVID requires certain measures be put in place but how you have treated a mother and young baby tonight is absolutely appalling and unnecessary! A friend with a 3 month old came to one of your facilities this evening. Both are COVID positive and the baby was having difficulties. She was told she could not stay with her child. She then requested to take her child and leave. She was then told she would be arrested if she took the baby and also if she didn’t leave ... read more
Very good at what they do. I will take all my health needs here when I need more advanced medical care then my PCP can offer.
We had great teams working with our Dad the whole week, we appreciate all of them in helping him in his recovery!
I’m sitting in the ER and have been for 8 hours now in extreme pain. They don’t care about it at all. I get to sit and suffer. And the worst part? I have a INCURABLE neurological disease that causes me pain. Who gives a crap about the patient right? Just let them lay here and suffer?

This place is understaffed, always has a long line, and every time i message my doctor about a concern she tells me to go to urgent care. I just tried to get into my PCP's office for a NINE DAY MIGRAINE and they told me her schedule for sick clinic had NO OPENINGS FOR OVER TWO WEEKS! I have already gone to urgent care 5 days ago. Why do I have a pcp if I can't get in when I'm sick? Very disappointed. Ku Med is low quality doctors that consistently leave because they're residents. I have had doctors leave and the way I found ... read more

After you leave the facility, the nightmare of dealing with their billing starts. Even if you set up a payment plan with them and are paying, they will still send you to collections anyway. You will fight with that for months. When you call them, expect at least 45 mins to not have anything resolved and no timely call back.
Business response:

For their Behavioral Health Unit Strawberry Hill Campus they slap every Bipolar patient with Borderline Personality Disorder, give them the exact same medication (which typically shouldn’t be given to bipolar patients as they aren’t quality mood stabilizers,) and then pushes them out the door at the same time. Refuses to provide Bibles or other Holy Books but let’s you use your cellphone or tablet for 45mins a day, staff yells at you for not wearing mask while you’re clearly eating or drinking but refuse to wear theirs all t... read more
