My husband fell and fractured one of his hip bones. The emt's took him to KU ER because he has Parkinson's and his doctors and medical history are all there. I was not allowed to go with him (he is 73) to the ER as no visitor were allowed. I called the ER about 2 hours later and talked to the nurse on duty. She was very pleasant and allowed me to talk to my husband before he went to surgery. The Dr. also called me to discuss what the options were for my husband. the majority of my husbands staff has been rude and very disrespectful. they have not keep me informed of my husband's condition. this is the worse experience ever and I'm not sure if we ever use it again. ready to change to to different care takers.
Dr thurmon did a amazing job placing a bladder stent in me and knew my pain that I was feeling and was really compassionate and everything with me and made sure I was comfortable and everything so glad one of her colleagues will be doing my second and final surgery!
