Year and a half ago you took great care of my step mother and my father while she was there. She came to you in a coma after an MVA. Severe TBI and quadriplegic now. But alive and very thankful. She improves everyday. From one nurse to another... Thank you for all your help.
Be sure to read the entire post as to why I gave a 3 star. The staff gets a 5 plus star. The hospital room and parking not so much. Do not make any conclusion that this is about the hospital itself. Words do not adequately express the quality of life the professional medical staff and support services at Univerity of Kansas Hospital restored for me after their diagnosis, surgery and treatment of the Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma I was infected with in 2007.
KU hospital has saved 4 of my family members from death. Words cannot express my feelings of how I feel about them. From the telephone operators to the surgeons your kindness and compassion are of the highest standard. Knowledge and all the newest procedures are top shelf. I always feel if we are at KU we are safe and everything will be okay. Thank you all for being there for us no matter what the circumstances you always do your best.
We waited for five hours in the ER and was never seen we got mad and just left.
