The Doctors at KU medical are wonderful . My dislike is the incompetent individuals that are in billing . When you call and set up a payment plan , give a person your personal HSA account to deduct payments monthly and they don't do it causing them to send your account to collections it's their negligence that is the cause.. I'm tired of poor customer service because that's what billing is ! You expect patients that are ill to not get upset which is ludicrous! Being on disability myself and having a stroke there's a reason I... read more

I just wanted to give a great big shout out to all the doctors and nurses at The University of Kansas Cancer Center! Today I had lovely conversations with 3 of my nurses. None of them made me feel rushed during our visits and allowed time for us to discuss life and not just cancer, treatments, etc. I was just reflecting on my day, and wanted to acknowledge their part in making an otherwise mediocre day into a day I will treasure! Thanks go out to Nurse Practitioner Stephanie, Treatment Nurse Toni, and Nurse Amy in Palliative... read more

Marc A Asher Comprehensive Spine Center - Dr Jackson was the physician and Troy ? the PA. According to my one and only visit was the same in appearance to the herding of cattle. Worst experience ever. Could certainly attribute some of this visit to the lack of care on my physician at the ever lazy Labette Health but I wouldn't be able to explain all of it due to the noise and dust of their newest money making scheme. Congrats to those of you who choose to believe the hype that people are well educated in the care field. You ... read more

I have severe Rheumatoid Arthritis. I live in southwest Missouri and saw all the Rheumatologists in my area. None of them seemed empathetic or interested in treating my symptoms. I finally asked for a referral to KU. My first appointment Dr. Lindsley spent over an hour examining my joints. He began aggressively treating my RA. It is still not well controlled but I can say my symptoms are better managed. I drive 6 hours round trip every 2 weeks but the care is well worth it!

Great care! Had a friend that I was with there for a couple months until he ended up passing unexpectedly. The care that he and I received while being there with him for months was incredible! So amazing KU made that very difficult time a lil less horrible and I will forever be grateful for that. Unbelievably outstanding nurses... #KURocks

My wife went to the E.R. on Friday july 1st. Itwas crazy in there. It took 4 hours and yes she was a little disgruntled. But it was all worth it when she was finaly admitted. She couldnt hardly walk and was stuttering bad. After K.U. being our 4th hospital and 5th E.R. visit we were finally able to get to a hospital hat knew what was wrong. Dr. Muhammad Nashatizadeh is one amazing Dr. He and his team were able to pin point the problem with my wife. It took time but we were ready for the help. All the Nurses on the 8th floor ... read more
