As soon as I walked in, shortness of breath etc, they started on me right away. They did more bloodwork, mri etc than they did at my local hospital. Extremely friendly, thorough and educated staff as well. They took excellent care of me and didn't rush me out of there. It was worth the 2 hour drive. We have used KU MED a lot over the past 5 years and the wonderful care we have received both in clinics and hospitals stays is the reason my husband is alive today . Diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension 7 years ago, Dr. Tim Williamson has guided my husband through various treatments. I would like to thank Dr. Camarata and Dr. Kinsman in the neurosurgery department! I have seen many neurosurgeons in the last 15 years and you are simply the best!!!! Great bedside manners, kind, and caring, along with phenomenal skills. I am a nurse and everyone who needs neuro help will definitely get sent your way! I can't express the relief, and gratitude that I feel after finally having a diagnosis after 15 years.
I am so thankful for this facility and it's AWESOME employees! It is such a blessing to be cared for here. We are always treated with respect and special care. Thank you for going above and beyond for our family every single time.
