My husband was treated here for Stage 4 Mantel Cell Lymphoma at 43yrs old. He underwent a Bone Marrow/Stem Cell Transplant and has been cancer free for almost 4 years!! The KU medical team was top notch professionally and personally. 100% recommend and trust. Miracles are happening in this place everyday!!
Thanks to the exceptional care I received from the Sarcoma Team at The University of Kansas Cancer Center, I am 2 years post treatment/surgery with no signs of reoccurrence! I hope to raise awareness for continued Sarcoma research!#BenchtoBedside #RacetoCureSarcomaKC
They have the best team of specialists. They are compassionate and caring. They are the best.
AML LEUKEMIA KU HOSPITAL IS WHY I'M HERE #1 ROCK CHALK JAYHAWKS KU HOSPITAL
Diagnosed with AML in 2012. My GP told me he would get me to the best place. He Did! I traveled from Southwest Kansas per ambulance. As soon as I arrived they started working me over, from stem to stern. I had pneumonia when I arrived, they took care of that and got me started on my chemo. If I had a problem, they were right on it. I had nausea that nothing seemed to touch, they alternated, changed, comforted me. Not just the nurses, it was every entity that I entered my room. I'm in remission now August is my 7 th anniversa... read more
Excellent care Wonderful doctors and caregivers
I was sent there on a midnight run in an ambulance as locally I was told I had cancer and no surgeon was available. After a few days waiting for a space in the surgery rotation I finally had my surgery. I definitely would recommend them to anyone! The nursing staff were efficient kind and caring, the surgeon who removed my non cancerous gall bladder was fast and the next day he let me go home.
Great cancer center. Good doctors and nice people working there. A+
They are loving caring people .
