Diagnosed with AML in 2012. My GP told me he would get me to the best place. He Did! I traveled from Southwest Kansas per ambulance. As soon as I arrived they started working me over, from stem to stern. I had pneumonia when I arrived, they took care of that and got me started on my chemo. If I had a problem, they were right on it. I had nausea that nothing seemed to touch, they alternated, changed, comforted me. Not just the nurses, it was every entity that I entered my room.
