As a local with kids we love going to the ugly grouper to play corn hole, eat, and especially listen to music. We all enjoy hearing live music and love the whole outdoor family environment!! Our waitress Miranda was on top of her game!!
Casual island dining - outdoor only, with fans and misters. I had their specialty, grouper tacos. They were good but pricey at $21. Our server, Miranda, was sweet and friendly and worked hard to make sure we were happy and had everything we needed. She recommended drinks and they were great.
First time eating at the ugly grouper. The food was amazing, especially the tacos. We had the best server, Adam L. He was amazing and even gave us recommendations on things to do on the island. Will definitely return.
Best food and atmosphere on the island. Great place for family fun with corn hole, ring rope and more. Plus the live music make for a fun night.
Was looking for place to eat at 930pm, almost every place was closed despite saying they were open until 10pm. Drove by Ugly grouper and noticed people outside eating so stopped to see if would serve us. Hostess happily seated us even though they were closing at 10pm. Our waitress, Miranda immediately appeared to take our order. She was very attentive, friendly and constantly checked in to see if we need anything. The best place in town. The mahi tacos are incredible -- just add the dynamite sauce! Great service. Great staff. So much fun to hang out here on a vacation!!! We can't wait to come back.
