The dishes Sam and I had were solid and plentiful. The death by chocolate dessert was totally sinful. And the service was totally fine and pleasant.
We were seated right away and had great speedy service through out the dinner and not waiting long for our dishes to be served. Only wish bread was offered vs having to ask for it. I'm glad I seen it on the menu and requested it (loved the Sriracha Cheddar bread!) Not your typical cheap restaurant.. If you want quality with something different and unique that tastes great this is a the place to go. It was all delicious! Atmosphere was lovely and I would recommend this place. ;)
My husband and I stopped by the Trellis on Thursday while we were walking around Williamsburg. I had a wonderful salad. We recommend this place, very nice.
The environment was very good. And the bar tender was very friendly. The salmon Crab cakes were delicious.
The staff was uppity and rude! The waitstaff acted like they were doing us a favor
Nice atmosphere could have got a better rating but, only one person working the bar while others stood at the front table watching her work alone. A majority of the drinks are hand crafted so they took time. Despite her being alone!!! She was still pleasant and her drinks were pretty and tasty!!
Filet rare, melts in your mouth. 2" thick thick and 4" in diameter.
Went for lunch with my church group and enjoyed our visit. Service was good and food was good. I had potato/leek soup and roast beef sandwich which was good. Loved the sauce on the sandwich! Hubby had clam chowder and other half of my sandwich. He liked his soup also. I had mango sorbet for dessert and it was just right. Other comments I heard from the group were also positive.
This is one of my favorite places to go and was so excited to go for my birthday! Don't get me wrong... loved being there...It's the company you keep that makes it wonderful! But...I did want a particular "sinful" sandwich for lunch! Ordered my sandwich....But waitress did not tell me that they had DRASTICALLY changed the sandwich!!!! From "sinful" to "heart healthy"....Come on guys....That's something you tell people!!!!! Especially when it's still called a "grilled cheese" sandwich! Live and Learn....
