This place has the best food!! The steak was amazing!! Live entertainment and great wine;)) you get what you pay for!!
We came to The Trellis for lunch after a recommendation from a local. We are so glad to have eaten here. The food is fresh, the special drink of the day was superb, and our server from Belarus was attentive and friendly. We highly recommend The Trellis.
Second time visiting this restaurant and the experience was amazing, this time I went with a couple of friends and they enjoyed the food, the music and the service was A+.
The fried oyster but was delicious, however, seating a large party seemed like such a difficult task for a facility with so much room.
Once upon a time this was one of Williamsburg's jewels. Having been away for twenty years, I wanted to come for a birthday lunch. I was happy to see Death by Chocolate was still on the menu despite the several years since the owner/founder sold the restaurant. Intentionally ordered a light lunch anticipating a decadent dessert. Service completely sucked (waited over an hour for French Toast and steak and eggs?). Food arrived after sitting under a heat lamp with a space cadet sever who clearly does not belong in the service industry. Apparently all of our fellow diners felt the same way as we heard similar comments as they all left....
