Went into the tile shop today ready to buy tile for our kitchen and was the only customer there for 45 minutes and not one sales associate greeted or helped me until I literally was on my way out. Will take my business somewhere that is more attentive to the customer.
There is a very rude employee there.
Buyers beware if you're heading to The Tile Shop in Matthews to buy tile. They don't tell you that the designers work on commission. Because of this, they will steer and sell you to buy the most expensive tile, and more than you actually need "just in case." David the store manager will begin a pressure campaign to push you to buy a tile selection even if you are unsure. Once you have bought the tile, they have a STRICT no returns policy, will not provide a store credit, or offer to take tile back even for a restocking fee. ... read more
