best turkey sandwich - but whats wrong with my favorite bar??? – This was by far my favorite pub in the neighborhood -- Village idiot is horrible by comparison- but lately what happened ? the new booths are the worst they make it feel stiff and boring. good spot....few complaints – Great Pub with a great selection if beers, in fact if you've never had the pleasure of trying a hitichino nest i recommend a stop by there immediately. Mediocre Food and Service and Expensive to BOOT – I reluctantly go to the 3rd Stop once every week, as it is a happy hour that is centrally located among my friends. I would much prefer to go to Village idiot where pints are at least one to two dollars cheaper and the food is significantly better. Decent food, a good place to hang with friends – I liked The 3rd Stop. The food was decent (delicious and simple) but what I found really interesting was there selection of brews on tap. They had some of my favorites, like Fat Tire and Guinness, but the majority of the list was new to me. It was a really nice change. The bartenders were pleasant, knowledgable and full of good suggestions. This place was a good place to meet up with a group of people, hangout and catch up. You are their for thier pleasure. The experience of this place is like... The unemployment line. – The idea of a Tap Beer joint is very compelling in LA (The Other Room is by far the best, and one of the best bars in general), but the way it's pulled off here is deplorable. No waitresses, so you must always go to the bar to order. Everytime they ask you your name - and often it's too loud to understand your long name. Great food AND beer = my new favorite place!!! – This place just keeps getting better... I was at 3rd stop for a birthday party a month or so ago and had such a great night. There is a great mix of people - mostly mid 20's - mid 40's... all just really friendly and cool plus they play a very familiar mix of old and new songs we all know and love . Great food, Fun atmosphere. – My boyfriend and I were visiting L.A. and this place was perfect for our first night in town. The food was great, I loved the small plates and it was an awesome place to people-watch! We will definitely come back the next time we're in town!
Yummy, cozy, wonderful neighborhood joint – Just what the neighborhood needed - from its welcoming interior to its inviting sidewalk tables to the tremendous variety of beers on tap to the scrumptious menu. The Third Stop has all the perfect qualities for a great restaurant experience - something LA lacks. My friends, you have just found your jackpot. 3rd Stop is a mix of all things you love in a local pub... savory eats, a charming bar staff, and a selection of import & local brews made for champions.
