I am very upset, I've waited a long time to go here and there are no high chairs or booster seats... I guess they aren't kid friendly..I won't recommend to anyone
I was really looking forward to visiting, but we were pretty disappointed. It was an early dinner and they were already out of the appetizer I wanted. The chef is very heavy handed with the salt. The chicken fried steak looked like they used cheap chopped steak. It was mealy and not good. Don't waste your money on the chicken fried oysters with biscuit and gravy. $11 for something that fits in your hand, was overly salted and just not that good. Their appetizers are pretty expensive. In regards to your comment about the chicken fried steak, the night you visited we were delivered the wrong product by our purveyor and the mistake wasn't caught until a few plates had gone out. Excellent ambience and great food. Green Chile Shrimp and Grits are a must.
Realizing it's the first official day and you're all tired, it's really not a good idea to close early when trying to establish yourself as a bar. It's also not a good idea to lock the door with no explanation in the faces of people trying to come inside. Not a great first impression.
Lovely place
Great yummy food. A waiter that knows his beer. New favorite finally something great in abilene!
Ask for Sarah. She is awesome! We were inside but the patio is great as well, depending on the the time.
Me and my wife love the place
We stopped in last night and tried it out. The food was fantastic and the service was great. The mini sliders were super juicy, the pickled onions on the pork tostado were amazing, and the shrimp & grits were creamy with good sized shrimp. It's so nice to see something new and different in Abilene. Go support new business in Abilene.
