Our made-from-scratch menu is flanked by a huge selection of craft beer, craft cocktails, and a carefully chosen wine list. The end result is a comfortable, casual environment with great food and drink served by a friendly and knowledgable staff. Worst service ever!!!! Been here over an hour and still have yet to get my beer! I mean it's a taphouse they specialize in beer!
Greg Waldrip, Robert Morris and I have been there on two different occassions. The first occassion, Greg and I ordered the pork chops and they came out cooke, but, like almost cold. The potatoes were warm. Not a very good start. Sounds like the food had been sitting up somwhere way too long. We told our waiter. Second time a few weeks later, Robert, Greg and I go back. Gary, I've communicated with Robert and Greg about this exact incident but let me pass the info to you as well. The reason that we've been having a hard time getting our food to the tables as piping-hot as we would like is that we are missing a heating element in our kitchen. One small piece, but that piece has been on backorder since before we opened and I am currently trying to have a replacement part specially made. Absolutely a great environment to be in, if you havent been then check it out. The music, food, and great selection of beer are what makes taphouse the number one spot in Abilene for any crowd.
Food is great. The chicken fried blt is awesome! Great beer selection. The only problem was our waitress waited on every table but ours. Had to flag her down for everything. My wife and kid never even got offered a refill.
Food was good, atmosphere was good, music was ridiculously OFFENSIVE......F-bomb every other word, every song. That was very strange & unnecessary.

Tamara, upon further investigation we determined that the night you came in an employee accidentally selected the wrong playlist from our music library when turning on the sound system. TCT definitely offers a different selection of beer than any other place I've been to in Abilene. The food isn't bad and the environment is very lively.
Hostess was rude and the food is terribly overpriced. Not sure why there's reviews on here from September and early October when they weren't even open.

We've been trying to accommodate everyone as quickly as possible and sometimes our girls get frazzled, but that's never an excuse for rude treatment.
