The food and atmosphere were great. We visited during restaurant week and enjoyed our meals. Good service.

One of my favorite places to dine in Frederick. Tonight was no exception! Definitely worth the drive from DC and the service, food, and no it is not cheap but the portions are enough to share.
The foie gras two ways, beef carpaccio, and scallop entree were exceptional!
I took my wife for Valentines Day. I must thank our server who was very patient with us because we had a great amount of questions regarding the menu. We went with his recommendations (red snapper, monkfish, s'more bread pudding) and it all was delicious. I would agree with a review I read saying that for the price, you would expect more (taste as well as portion). I can see myself dining at The Taste Room again, but I would mention other restaurants before this one

Everything about our visit was excellent! Our server, David was great. He gave his opinion and helped us decide on the best wine pairing for the food we ordered. The bartender was very knowledgeable with a specialty drink for one of our party. Great experience~ We will definitely go again!
