The Sweet Onion was recommended by the owner of a cottage we stayed in at the lake. We had a 25 minute on a Wednesday night but we didn't call ahead. Our waitress was very helpful with questions and serving. There were three in our group and we all ordered different entrees. The salmon, beef short ribs, and wild mushroom ravioli were amazing! Best meal during 8 days of eating out twice per day. You must try it.
Incredible experience, we did have a long wait (about an hour) but the hostess took our cell phone number so we were able to walk downtown Waynesville while waiting. Once seated we found that the wait staff was great and the food was incredible.
Strolled past this hidden gem and stopped in...was well worth it!!! Try the dumplings they are great!!!
Great service, amazing food! Shrimp & grits was to die for! Big servings as well! Dessert was too much!!!
Always fabulous food and service we love coming here!!
