We love Sweet Onion. The service was friendly and attentive. The food was great..... but the cocktails were even better....
We had friends in town for a visit and wanted to take them to a really nice restaurant. We made reservations and upon arrival, were seated promptly. The staff is very friendly, made us feel very welcome. We ordered the short ribs with blackberry bbq sauce and the trout special. Both dishes were done to perfection! We loved our server! This will now be our “Go-To” place to bring guests ~ this place is really good ! ��
The fries were good. I like to give my local restaurants great reviews, but, sometimes that is just not possible. My husband and I had the Monday daily special, Natahala Dirty Girl battered Mahi Mahi, It looked wonderful, but at first bite it was obvious the chef had a heavy hand on the salt shaker. I pealed off the batter thinking that was what was so salty, wrong, the salt was on the fish. my husband, who never complains about salt also found the fish entirely to salty.
Stopped in for the first time and very happy with our decision! Food was delicious and our server, Jennifer was friendly and attentive. Thanks for a great date night!
