Not disappointed! Amazing food and Jennifer was on top of her game!
My husband & I werejust in the area for one night. Someone in one of the stores recommended The Sweet Onion. Many choices on the menu. I ordered the pecan crusted trout filet with green beans & mashed sweet potatoes. My husband ordered the shrimp & grits & collards. So much of this meal had sugar in it! The grit cakes had sugar in them & the sauce over the trout was very sweet! Other than that we enjoyed the meal & will come back. We will just find out what entrees aren't loaded with sugar next time!!
A group of us had planned to go to dinner yesterday (10/27) to celebrate two birthdays. We called to make a reservation for 7 and were told they only took reservations for parties of 5 or less. We decided to go anyway without the reservation. When we got to the restaurant, we were told that they couldn't seat us all together. Needless to say, we ended up going somewhere else for dinner. Great Crabcakes!! Who would have thought there would be great crabcakes in Waynesville, NC?
As a visitor I thought the restaurant to be clean, the staff extremely courteous and attentive. Food was incredibly awesome. Hope to go there again some day
The crab cakes were stupendous! My husband definitely had "food envy" but what he ordered was delicious as well. The waitress' recommendations were dead on and she was attentive and sweet.
Still very good,but success must have gone to their head. Not nearly as good as when we first visited a couple years ago. Everything was good, but just not excellent, as I remember it.
