I love their cakes! Their cake to frosting ratio is perfect. I've tried other cake shops in town and Sugar Plum's fondant cakes are phenomenal. Best bakery in town.
I realized today that I never wrote a review! Sugarplum has done both our wedding and baby shower cakes and both were amazing! The ladies there are super sweet and brought my cake visions to life each time. Couldn't be happier. The amount of compliments about not only how good our cakes have looked, but how great they've tasted too let me know that I've found a definite crowd pleaser with Sugarplum! One happy customer.
I met Amanda last night and had a white cake cupcake with raspberry filling... MY FAVORITE... it was out of this world delicious! I cannot say enough about Amanda, also, very great lady! Please visit her soon!
Great tasting. Nice consult with Amanda who took her time. Wrong color !! And considerably smaller than expected. Also came assembled instead of boxed in three layers for travel, which was hard to drive with. the cherry cake was delicious. Bright Blue cake with yellow trim instead of pearl purple with gold trim looked bad at the party themed in purple and gold. I would recommend this shoppe but be careful with details.
Called to get a quote for my husband's 50th birthday cake and a bit of miscommunication had occurred it was made right. When this all started all I wanted was a cake but after my husband suffered a heart attack a week before his birthday it became more than a cake but a celebration that he was still with us thanks to Julie for ensuring we got the cake, my husband loved his Star Trek cake. Thank you! It meant more than you will ever know. The cake was yummy too!
