First time in Stowe + our place at The Blacksmith Shop was across the river from The Stowe Inn. The best fondue after a day of skiing! The waitress, Dayna, was amazing + we highly recommended it!
Axel made our stay the best. He was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. Even if we didn't like the inn so much, we would come back just because of him. The only thing I would change about our visit is that the WiFi signal didn't reach our room. That would've been helpful to save some data, but it's all good. Overall it was a pleasant experience and we will definitely be back. Thanks for everything!

The Stowe Inn is different than your 'run-of-the-mill' modern motel establishments. I enjoyed the old-world ambience, the location was central, the staff friendly & helpful, & the room very comfortable.
Very disappointing! No sheets on the bed. Food was left in the refrigerator from precious occupants. Dishes were in the sink and strainer from previous occupants. Definitely not worth what we paid. No breakfast or coffee.
Room was very small in spite of the fact that they told me they upgraded me, ( if that was an upgrade I couldn’t imagine what the others looked like )when I saw the room I was totally disgusted, it was a very small room, I feel we were laughed at when we saw the upgrade, it had old blankets , on bed, no coffee pot, sheets falling off the beds, A/C was very loud and very smelly, smelled molded, an A/C very close to our room started banging, then humming, we couldn’t sleep because we were afraid of a fire, parking lot has hole... read more
We were up this past weekend for my sons lacrosse tournament and we would never stay at this hotel again. The rooms were dirty, there was no a/c (hotel manager said units were stolen). Also the hotel added on buffet breakfast because as they put it, “it’s the only way people will eat it”. The buffet was awful, powdered scrambled eggs, home fries that appear to have come from a bag, no fruit. The hotel manager on Saturday morning was yelling at the hotel staff about cleaning rooms.
