The bar staff was amazing, the food was fabulous. We booked a suite and, at some point during the night our coffee table was flipped upside down....wow! Can't beat it!
The hotel from the outside is beautiful but the inside has been poorly preserved. I took my mother on the tour and was very unimpressed!! It was a two hour long tour and we basically saw a parlor set up for a conference, a hallway and a staircase. We were told to use our imagination to visualize what it would have looked like :(
I've been coming to the Stanley for years and I always love it! I've done the history tour four times and this was easily the best tour guide so three cheers for Lady J! Our only complaint was that we waited at the bar for 20 minutes while the three bartenders stood in a circle and talked and either didn't see us or ignored us. Otherwise we love the Stanley and will be back...just not to the bar lol
The Stanley Hotel Tour was amazing. Our tour guide Emily was very knowledgeable, she was able to answer all questions and made the tour fun!!
We had a wonderful tour with our terrific guide DD! Her exuberant energy level made the experience utterly amazing!! Thank you DD! After the tour we had lunch at the bar and the food was delicious! The bar tenders were so friendly and welcoming!!
The Stanley is a great place. I really enjoyed walking the halls late at night with my 8 year old looking for ghosts and taking pictures. The only problems occurred when the bartender was extremely rude to my wife and her aunt.( We are still waiting on management to call is about the incident. Other than that it was a great 40th birthday celebration spot.
Always great just to drive up to Estes and stay a couple day's to relax from the busy life in Denver.
Great experience, as a former employee (night audit) I had many great memories. Family friendly and a historical gem of the Rockies.
A wonderful tour with so much history and how 1 person can make a difference!!
