Huge applause to the team at the St Regis DC. My husband and I stayed here so we could enjoy the fireworks. With all the road closures for the Fourth of July and BLM plaza activities and a pandemic, this team faced an uphill battle - though, you would never know it. Despite having to meet a valet 2 blocks away (due to road closures) and having to pass through groups of protestors, the staff immediately made us feel welcome and special. Always enjoy the St. Regis...it’s a very special hotel in DC. It’s nearly a destination in itself. Very few hotels can aspire to that identity. Love the 6 p.m. tradition!
