Always a great time at Southern. Superb food and service. The collard greens are like mama used to make!!
As always great food and atmosphere with impeccable service. Oysters and steak....can't beat that combination.
From the time we arrived until we left 3 hours later, the Southern was AMAZING! Our server, Eric, made sure all the very diverse needs of our party of 7 were cared for perfectly and promptly. The food was divine, and the Banana Bread pudding....mmmmm!
The Crab Cake Hash and a Spicy Bloody Mary were excellent for brunch....
A must stop in Nashville. The pork chops are so delicious there are no words. Just order them. Everyone at our table loved their food. Bread pudding for dessert ended our fabulous night. Service was great. Becca was our waitress and she was the best.
The benedicts Also, capuccino and pancakes 🥞 delicious!
All five of the burgers were way less than warm, no where near hot off the grill, and every single order of fries were Cold. Server replaced the fries, but the came after all the burgers were gone. Very very disappointed.

Y'all, last night's gumbo was so amazing, I actually need to make a separate post just for this gravy of the gods! The gumbo was positively sublime. The chef started with a deep mahogany roux, the likes of which have not been seen outside the bayous of Louisiana. It was rich and velvety, and as you drew your spoon through, it churned in the bowl like the muddy waters of the great Mississippi River meeting the Gulf of Mexico.
