My third visit to The Southern. It never disappoints! The food is always exceptional as well as the service.
Wonderful food, fantastic service and friendly staff. Oysters were expensive but fresh and delicious.
I love oysters! And their selection if salt water oyster is outstanding, service was great along with the peanut butter and chocolate cheese cake after the my delicious fish and grits entree.
Best sea scallops of my life. Cojita cheese grits underneath. OMG service was impeccable, very friendly and helpful. Bananas foster bread pudding should be illegal. Outstanding on every single count. Our server Bekah was a delight.
It was a great experience all around. We had 17 people and everything went smooth and the food was excellent!!! Oyster were so good!! Steak of your choice and size.....we will be back !!
Stopped in here yesterday. Probably my 3rd or 4th time at The Southern. At about 3:00 I checked Open Table and the earliest I could get a table was 8:15. I called the restaurant and the same was confirmed. But the guy also said that they were opening up the patio seating so a walk in might get a table. We got there about 6ish, and were put on the waiting list. We were told the wait was an hour and a half. The best thing that has happened to waitlists is the restaurants ability to text you. That was one of the most satisfying meals I’ve had which says a lot with all of the restaurants in Manhattan I go to! The Sapphire steak biscuits were amazing, as was the salmon special and the bananas foster for desert.
In town for the SHAPE conference and recomended by iur shuttle driver from Music City Shuttle, Outstanding oysters and gumbo
Great food and atmosphere!! The pork chop was outstanding!
