Best Bang For Your Buck We moved in because the price was comparable to other locations listed in the area....but you get a view of the most beautiful beaches in CT. It’s truly luxury living. The inside is stunning, so much square footage. It is the same size as our previous Townhouse we were in. It’s super safe with ample parking. The shower pressure and air conditioning are fantastic. Waterside Living If you've ever rented more than one apartment in your life, you know that rental properties can be a mixed bag. A Perfect Sunrise and Sunset at Soundview We moved into Soundview in September on very short notice after our house, which had been on the market, was destroyed by a water event. We can't say enough about the professionalism of Johneisha, the building manager, and Bobby, the fix it person. Both respond very quickly to problems that come up and will do whatever they can to make your living at Soundview a positive experience. Great Staff, very responsive. I moved in just over a year ago (to join my then fiancee), and I've been very happy with the responsiveness of the staff whenever we've needed...anything, really. The Assistant Property Manager (Jessica) and the Super (Bobby) in particular have been great with not only responding quickly when something is needed, but they have even been proactive to the point of putting in work orders even before I've asked. Beachview apartments, newly reonvated and convenient to New Haven Great apartment and terrific leasing staff. Spacious 2 BR apartments with lots of light, good storage space and newly renovated with a very modern feel. 1 BR also available. Apartment above about the 3rd floor have a view of the water and beach with the North side units having a lighthouse view. Half of the Benefits Listed Here Don't Exist! There is no property manager on site. There is an assistant property manager who doesn't know what she's doing or talking about. She incorrectly states policy, threatens litigation against customers, and lies through her teeth. We had an issue where our movers may have caused damage when we moved out. Not worth the money They say this is a luxury apartment haha.I have been living here for 4months now with a year lease and I'm paying $1700 for basically just a decent view of the ocean. I would say, its a generally older community that reside in these apartments. The amenities are decent,the size pool is good. The gym is the size of a 300sq ft apartment, not much going on in there. Going Downhill Fast We moved in a couple years ago and we liked it a lot. Since then the rent has gone up HUGE amounts and the amenities have gone down. The biggest problem though is the heat. It's always freezing. The windows need to be replaced and haven't been. We have had the heat running for 3 days on 80 degrees without shutting the heat off and the living room is still 55 degrees according to the thermostat on the heat remote control. Our electric bill is ridiculous and we're freezing.
