I needed to sod the areas around my driveway on both sides about 15 per side I went to Home Depot they only had 15 good pieces purchased them so I went down the block on Ridge Rd purchased 15 more the top pieces looked good so assumed it was all good I backed my truck up to the pallet went inside started conversing with the man behind the counter and another customer then asked for his instructions purchased the sod and the fertilizer he recommended I get home and the sod looked dead I think the guy who loaded my truck pu... read more

Wow, not sure where to start with these guys, still sort of speechless how I was treated there. Went to get a load of sod and all was well until they started to load it. As Frank (the owner) started to load it I saw him trying to slide it in the back of my truck as I heard the RIPPING SOUND of my Bed Rug and yelled STOP. He did, I then asked if he could lift it up and go a little further, he said he couldn't and I said leave it as it is and I left to drive home. Was skeptical as sod was brown but watered as you told and now beautifully green, photo available if would like, very pleased, didnt quite cover area measured and expexted to have extra still need to return pallet, thank you very much!!
Ordered 12 pallets. Sod was delayed about a month due to a lot of rain and weather. This was not A1's fault. They were very good about communicating this to me with regular updates. Sod was very good quality. I would certainly use them again.
