Excellent food and nice atmosphere. My wife, son, and I went and was very impressed by the portions and taste of the BBQ. The 3 of us all had leftovers and left stuffed. I felt like $27 for our meal was very reasonable. We will definitely be going back.
Everything is excellent; the ribs, pulled pork, sides, dessert and the service. Wonderful experience every time so far.
I had a night out with my family and we went here, and it gave me FOOD POISON! Oh no no was sick for a week!
The wife and I split an order of ribs, and they were so good. They fell off the bone, the sides were amazing. The sweet potato fries were amazing as well as the home made Mac n cheese. The cornbread was amazing too. Big portions..
Best BBQ place in town. It's about time to expand though, as there is almost always a line and it's getting to the point where rude people are stealing the booths as you're about to place your number placard on the table. When can we expect a smoke pit 2?
Heard about this place through some friends and since we were in the area I made my husband take me. Best brisket I have had since I have been out west (maybe even better!) My husband got the stock market sandwich and it had just as much meat as my two item combo. We will be back!
My wife and I just moved to Concord from Texas, and this was the first BBQ placed we dared to try. We always get brisket where ever we go, so we consider ourselves somewhat BBQ connoisseurs. The brisket at The Smoke Pit was INCREDIBLE! We were shocked, because we came in with a biased attitude, thinking that NC could not possibly do brisket like Texas does. We were VERY wrong. The brisket was so moist it just fell off of your fork! Well done Smoke Pit!
Ate at their food truck at Cabarrus Brewery. Brisket was outstanding but chicken wings were the size of pterodactyl birds! And tough. Fries were cold, at least the hush puppies were hot. 2 of us ate this and it was still huge. Please go to smaller wings. Sauces were very good
The food is amazing, the atmosphere is great, and the staff is super friendly!
