At The Shrimp Barn we have grilled, sauteed and deep fried items. Our fresh fish and seafood selections are breaded in our kitchen. We have a light breading so you can enjoy the fresh taste of your meal. We use 100% sunflower oil. We have lobster tail and fish tacos. Don't like shrimp? That's okay! Upon entry, we were not greeted, we sat our party of three, including a 97 year old, to a table for eight , and we waited for twenty minutes before WE had to approached a waiter. Our drink order came more than five minutes after ordering, at that point we should have left but did not. I Had the all you can eat fish, and my fish was dried out, and my fries were cold. I will never dime here again. Its too pricy for the service,or lack of. A very disappointing dining experience.

I know the owners. Top notch�family with a genius chef for a Daddy. The quality of the food is equaled by their integrity.
We liked the decor, it was quite charming. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The food was very good.
First time going here....loved the atmosphere. Wait staff very accommodating. Although I was disappointed to find out the Alligator was sold out. But will be back to hopefully be able to have that.

Sorry about the alligator. We like to make sure our food is fresh so we don't order in large quantities. Some weeks we have a few people ordering alligator and some weeks everybody wants to try it. It's hard to anticipate how much we will need. I'm glad you enjoyed your experience however. Feel free to call and double check to make sure we have alligator next time you come in because we would hate to disappoint you again. With that being said we do rarely run out of alligator. Very good food and the wasabi cucumber sauce was very good plus the choice of different brews was nice The gator and grouper was very good and the portions were big Didn't leave hungry Will definitely go back again
OMG-- so good! So cute, so unique-- such a diverse menu! I had the lobster bisque and the shrimp tacos-- so delish!! The owner Ron waited on us and he was so friendly! You can tell that he loves his place and his job! We will definitely be back to this unique find!!!�
Live in minooka a visit there for there shrimp and lobster bisque . Love it and the atmosphere .
