Very homey atmosphere, owner talks to all his customers, food is very good, antique items for sale also.
We have always enjoyed the food here for every occasion!

The shrimp barn has a beautiful environment. The staff is very friendly as well as the owners and the food is outstanding. A must try.
Great food all made fresh from scratch. Try the dipping sauces. Even the ranch is homemade. Fantastic.

I'm so sorry about that. We had just too many tickets in the kitchen to fill. It's hard to say no to people who call in for a delivery. I wish there was a better way to say it. I'm sure there is and for that I do apologize. We don't want to disappoint anyone and we appreciate any business that we do get. A lot of people filled our dining room hoping to eat and get to the MCHS play at 7:00. We were under a deadline for a lot of folks and we didn't want to make anyone late so it was hard to take in any extra order at that time... read more
Driving thru Minooka and I had to come in here to see what it's all about. I wasn't expecting what I found, not only is the food good the atmosphere is something you must come see. From the staff to the owner made me feel like I was at home.
Ate here twice recently, first time I ordered the coconut shrimp and it was burnt to a crisp and thought I'd give it another try tonight. Ordered the grilled shrimp and it literally tasted like a cigarette butt, never again!!

Not only is the food delicious, but the atmosphere is wonderful, as well. The owners are so friendly and make everyone feel at home. Love the history of the building, too, and loved hearing the old stories and seeing the photographs. Very interesting. Will be making this a regular stop.
