From out of town. Wanted something local tried the shrimp barn and loved it. Was treated right. Will be back!

Awesome little place with that old farm feel! Plenty of waitresses for the size of the place. Great service with a smile, and local brew options available!

Great time at the Shrimp Barn! First time here and I was not disappointed! The owner is great you can tell he has a passion for his business! It was nice to hear the history of this location. This is a hidden gem in the southwestern suburbs of chicagoland. We came here with our friends to enjoy a double date for Valentines day weekend. Took a chance and had a great dinner. Although a little pricey. Shrimp was not over breaded and just right spices. I thought jumbo shrimp would have been bigger but still good. Ordered catfish but would have like some mild or hot sauce like Harold’s chicken or Lawrence fisheries sells but flavor was still good. They had some condiments but didn’t offer until I requested and they could have been better frankly. Thank you for taking the time to review us! We always recommend the smoky honey mustard for the catfish! Since you like spice I recommend a splash of Louisiana hot sauce mixed in our honey mustard that we serve. Sorry you had to ask for the condiments. We bread everything by hand so you get a nice light breading which doesn’t hide or mask the flavor of the shrimp or fish. Our soups are homemade. Lobster Bisque is expensive to make.
