Always a good experience at the Schooner. Food is always hot & tastey ... my favorites are the Seafood Gumbo and the Stuffed Filet of Flounder.
I grew up in Nederland from the early 1950's until the early 1970's and it was a real treat to eat at the Schooner. I have lived in Houston for more than forty years, but really enjoyed my dining experience at the Schooner yesterday. It was like going back in time! I had the stuffed flounder filet, and both the food and the service were very good.
Have been eating at the Schooner for over 50 years, have N E V E R had a bad meal. It's clean, food is good, friendly staff. However, the thing I like the most, it is family owned and operated. Does not matter how many new restaurants have opened in Nederland, they have not diminished the Schooner's business.
Great food, great service. Will make this one of our regular places to go.
Excellent service the food was first class recommend you try yourself but we had a great expireience here love it can't wait to go again
