BBQ crabs were awesome...oysters were super fresh and clean. There's a reason this place is still a favorite choice throughout my entire life. �
My husband and I love to go there and eat. I loved it when my Mom use to work there. It was treat to go eat there and see her. That was over 45 years ago. The servers are wonderful and love the atmosphere. The food is so Delicious!!!!
I had the fried alligator and a seafood platter. The food was great, and I'll definitely be going back.
On our way back from Louisiana to the Sugar Land area, i begged my husband to turn right into The Schooner parking lot. I wanted to eat there although it had been over 40 years since i'de been there last. We were so happy that we stopped. It was the BEST seafood we've had in YEARS! i can't wait to come back again on our next trip thru Mid-County! I was tickled pink to sit under the stuffed fish/turtles just like when i was a kid. It totally made my weekend! Can't wait to get back again!
Friday the 13th was great for our party of 18 who came to celebrate my daughter Anna Locke Benfield birthday. Our waitress was absolutely wonderful! The room was warm when we first got there but they quickly adjusted the temperature and it was great the rest of the evening. Our drinks and salads came out quickly. My husband and I shared the Captains Seafood platter and there was enough food to take home leftovers! Everything was delicious. Hats off to our waitress and staff for making our evening memorable.
Food was great. Service was soooooo slow. Like 30 minute wait just to be seated. Then another 20/30 minute wait to have r order taken. Waitress was really sweet though. Just had way too many tables while they were that busy.
