The San Francisco Dungeon is the first American iteration of the Dungeon attractions that are popular in Europe. In the course of an hour, you're taken through some of San Francisco's most interesting historical events. There are nine live shows and fully immersive sets that you walk through as your visit progresses. You even get to experience an underground boat ride! The shows can range from hilarious to somewhat scary, so the recommended minimum age for visitors is 10.

We had lots of fun! Our teenage son was pleasantly surprised by the fact that the actors involved the audience in their performances, this made the trip through the past of San Francisco more fun.
Actors and their costumes were amazing. History lesson meets interactive haunted house. Highly recommended.
Went yesterday and it was really fun and the actresss who played miss piggot was beautiful!
Had a great time with my Brother's and Sister in law and girls.
My husband and I along with our daughter and her boyfriend spent the long Memorial weekend in San Francisco. We visited the San Francisco Dungeon not knowing what to expect.......Well let me say we were very pleasantly pleased, it was a lot of fun and well worth the ticket price. We will recommend The San Francisco Dungeon as a don't miss for anyone visiting San Francisco.
One of the funnest way to kill an hour without realizing it was an hour long. All the actors were fantastic and you learn about the dark side of history
We got freebie tickets. The online tickets cost $19.99 and for $5 more you can also go to Madame Tussauds. Haven't been to Madam Tussauds in SF. We enjoyed it in London, England. The SF Dungeon show was entertaining, not scary! It's something to do if you want to do touristy thing!
The San Francisco Dungeon has a 4.4 star rating with 1,435 reviews.
The San Francisco Dungeon is open now. It will close at 9:00 p.m.
