The San Francisco Dungeon is the first American iteration of the Dungeon attractions that are popular in Europe. In the course of an hour, you're taken through some of San Francisco's most interesting historical events. There are nine live shows and fully immersive sets that you walk through as your visit progresses. You even get to experience an underground boat ride! The shows can range from hilarious to somewhat scary, so the recommended minimum age for visitors is 10.

Really enjoyed it. Not scary but I love haunted houses. More like you're watching a play then walking and things jumping out at you. The actors were great and I enjoyed the drop ride. The pictures at the end were to expensive to buy but that was my only complaint.

Sorry not too impressed. Kind of a waste of an hour really thought it would talk more about the history and not be about funny stuff. As for the ride at the end well it's a kiddie ride sorry
Definitely must experience the Dungeon to get full effect. Different way of sharing the history of San Francisco. Exciting, funny and keeps you on your toes. Would not recommend taking kids under 10.
Needs more blood! Ramp up the scare factor! They scared my sister who had arthritis so she didn't go on the ride. She could have gone on the ride because it was nothing at all.
