The San Francisco Dungeon is the first American iteration of the Dungeon attractions that are popular in Europe. In the course of an hour, you're taken through some of San Francisco's most interesting historical events. There are nine live shows and fully immersive sets that you walk through as your visit progresses. You even get to experience an underground boat ride! The shows can range from hilarious to somewhat scary, so the recommended minimum age for visitors is 10.

I absolutely LOVE this place! From the photo's- Which when I visited only took about 3 minutes for all three pictures which BTW came out excellent! ALL of the actors and actresses were phenomenal and the entire experience was just terrific! Thank you to the entire staff at the San Francisco Dungeon! Cheers!
Just visited today during a trip and thought it was great! The actors were engaging and funny, they spoke and played their parts well and it gave you a small amount of twisted history, encouraging audience participation. As a note, audience participation and enthusiasm is a must for a full experience. Thanks for the good time, Misses Piggott!
First Shafer, wow nothing nice to say about your comments. Personally liked it a lot and was lucky enough to be with a great group that me feel comfortable even though I was visiting without my 3 daughters or grandchildren. I would highly rec.
I thought It was gonna be a little more like a haunted house. But, it was still good. The drop ride was okay felt like an elevator lol. Was expecting a bit more from the ride. However, it was a super fun experience. I got to watch my cousin be put into a chair. Went on a boat ride. And the tour guide or the first guy I saw who said I owed him 10 dollars was super cute. Hope we meet again. Would definitely go back again.
