The San Francisco Dungeon is the first American iteration of the Dungeon attractions that are popular in Europe. In the course of an hour, you're taken through some of San Francisco's most interesting historical events. There are nine live shows and fully immersive sets that you walk through as your visit progresses. You even get to experience an underground boat ride! The shows can range from hilarious to somewhat scary, so the recommended minimum age for visitors is 10.

This was so much fun. It was very inexpensive so we expected it to be pretty cheesy. It’s actually really impressive and there were some genuinely scary parts! We had an amazing time and got our thrills in. Great value. The actors were great and fun and sets were top notch.
Had an awesome time! Well scripted and funny as Hell! They could charge twice as much for the ticket and it still would be an awesome value. Even the gift shop has reasonable prices. Recommend!
RecommendedI’d say you should experience it once. Don’t expect a “boat ride”...it’s literally a boat that moves about 10 feet up. The “drop ride” drops about 10 feet also...but the show part was decent. They could make the drop ride taller and maybe open a view to SF, kinda like to tower of terror ride at Disneyland?

Good spooky fun! If you love dark humor and Theatre-in-the-Round shows with some audience participation, this place is awesome. A little expensive, but arguably *well* worth the price of admission.
