The San Francisco Dungeon is the first American iteration of the Dungeon attractions that are popular in Europe. In the course of an hour, you're taken through some of San Francisco's most interesting historical events. There are nine live shows and fully immersive sets that you walk through as your visit progresses. You even get to experience an underground boat ride! The shows can range from hilarious to somewhat scary, so the recommended minimum age for visitors is 10.

Lame! The advertisements did pull us in and the decor was cool, but the actual experience was not exciting. It wasn't scary at all. The boat ride was pointless and the drop was 2 second from about 5'-10' in the air (like a kiddie ride). There were funny parts, like the court room and the Alcatraz Jail Cell was probably my fave, but overall I wouldn't recommend spending the hour doing this experience.

Amazing drop ride not stellar just like 5 ft, but the history the actors and ambiance was amazing we will go back!
