First time and I was truely satisfied with the atmosphere service an food. I would eat here everyday if I could👍
Loved it......Until the rain fall drenched us!!! All the employee were so nice!
We arrived early.. Cause the wait can be long!! No wait, only on our server everyone around us got drinks & bread. We had to ask for a server. We ordered the seafood pot pie as in past visits... It was de**lish along w/ the key lime pie!
Love the South Beach location. Food is average, can be gotten anywhere on the island. Food is about 20% overpriced to comparable restaurants. Wait staff are good and attentive. The girls doing the seating seem more interested in talking to each other or texting than doing their job. On the whole, I will continue to come to South Beach for the ambiance, but will probably eat somewhere else before or after I get there. We had excellent service at South Beach from our waitress -- "Haley"... she was not only friendly but helped us with our selections for lunch...The food was delicious!! Highly recommend Salty Dog Cafe!! Best food we had while on Hilton Head!!
We had wonderful burgers with fries for lunch. We are thinking about going back before vacation ends
Good was very bad. Dried out chicken and burgers. Crab dip and cheese dip awful. Ceasar salad was horrible. Service was substandard. Need I say more?
I went to dinner on Sunday at the Salty Dog Café. I ordered a simple hamburger. When the food arrived I began to eat and noticed a weird taste. Upon looking at the sandwich they switched the hamburger with a bunch of beans pressed into a patty. Not able to eat beans I began to get sick. Staff said the cook got confused. The restaurant was understaffed as well which likely caused a lot of the confusion. Staff then promptly brought me a bill for a hamburger and the meal of the other person with me.
