Way overrated and overpriced. Food was mediocre at best. Wait staff was pleasant and relatively attentive and the location is outstanding.
After a long hot day, very tired and not in the mood for an hr wait and the high prices. but had the best server Tony, made the trip enjoyable. food was very good, even at the high price. we will come back
Awesome! This is a must visit when in Hilton Head!
Set up was cool and service was good. But food was way over priced for what you can get at Applebees.
RecommendedThe Salty Dog had a two hour wait, so we went to the Wreck of the Salty Dog for dinner. We could get seated immediately if we were willing to sit at the "high tables" just inside the door. Not the most comfortable chairs and location, however. The service was good and prompt. We had the catch of the day (swordfish) sandwich and it was tasty. Had a gosh dern party in my mouth and half of the dang pantry was invited! Got the burger, topped with bacon, pineapple, peanut butter, cilantro, and sriracha sauce. Would have never of thought to put that combo on a burger but it worked! It was dericious!!! Jonathan was our server and he was excellent! After our meal was over the manager came to check on us and she was super nice! The prices were reasonable and we sat outside overlooking the water. Highly recommend!

The service was good. The food is way over priced and not that great ($35 strip steak). The atmosphere is nice but it's just another beach restaurant. Also very disappointed with the bathrooms ... I'll just leave it at that. It's worth the experience but don't get too excited. Also kinda strange you have to pay $6 to drive into the resort to eat dinner.
Loved everything scenery, delicious food & best service & waiter all week . THANKS Glenn !
