We tried the salted caramel vanilla, cookie dough, bananas foster, and rumchata carrot cake. They were, without exception, amazing! The cakes were wonderfully moist, the frosting perfectly decadent and the flavor combos spot on. We loved the cookie topper on the cookie dough cupcake. Very fun! I also loved being able to message in to reserve cupcakes. What a great idea!! I'll definitely be back again (and again and again).
They're very tasty and rich. The frosting might be a bit sugary for my taste, slightly grainy maybe? I'm not sure that's the right word. They aren't completely smooth. It works for cupcakes like cookie dough, because it gives that raw sugar texture you love with cookie dough. I love the variety of flavors they offer. If they ever get a reward system, I might try them again. A bit pricey for anything but special occasions.
I have been a fan of The Salted Cupcake for a LONG time!! I used them for my wedding and they were amazing. The customer service was above and beyond. They even made a to go box for us with some of the new flavors we wanted to try! I’ve had great experiences with them time after time. Not only are the cupcakes the best, but so are the people who run it!
For years, I smugly imagined that I bake the best cupcakes in the world. But I do not. You do. I am eating THE MOST delicious and perfectly balanced cupcake in the world. Yay!! Thanks for sharing your talent, I am a happy girl. I live an hour away but will be inventing all sorts of reasons to come to GR and swing by for a cupcake while I happen to be in town. ;)
This is a long overdue review, but if you want excellent cupcakes and somehow even better customer service, this is the place! I had put in a special order for my wife's birthday and asked them to hold 2 cupcakes for me to pick up right before 6 on a Wednesday. I got there and they had sold out of those particular cupcakes, with none set aside as I had been told. Best cupcakes in GR, hands down. The flavors are out of this world with perfect texture and out of this world frosting. The staff are fantastic, friendly, and helpful. The entire business is so charming!
Best cupcakes I have ever had and I'm not joking! Great place! I also appreciate how all their "decorations" are delicious as well. A lot of cupcake places don't worry about them being tasty but that's not the case here... Every detail is perfect!
