Alright spot – Not too many seats inside. Every table has an outlet though which is really good. There are 4 computers anyone can use with free internet in addition to the free wireless. I thought the food and coffee was a bit pricey.
Coffee that doesn't $uck + smiles + free internet – When I found this place I was so happy b/c Culver City isn't notorious for great indy coffee shops. If you're suspicious of Starbucks, bored of The Coffee Bean, and tired of paying for internet at both of the afformentioned coffee spots then come to The Rumor Mill.
Pesto Turkey Sammich – Found this place randomly for lunch in Culver City. I've been dreaming of that pesto turkey sandwich, saturated with just the right amount of olive oil, since. I've never tasted anything quite like it, and can't find anything like it in the valley. Their prices might be a little expensive for sandwiches, but they are worth the every penny. The place has wireless internet and plenty of laundry machines should give me enough excuses to eat there.
love the Rumor Mill – this place is great. Where else can you have a business meeting (complete with wireless-g internet and plenty of power outlets for laptops with worn out batteries), have lunch, a cup of coffee and do your laundry, all at the same time? Well, you've found the place, right in the heart of Culver City. Good date spot, too. Enjoy!
A great place to work – An untragically hip vibe, good food, art up on the walls. A really nice neighborhood cafe!
Sandwich Heaven – Better than great sandwiches, soups, salads, coffee, and specialty drinks. Wonderfully creative sandwiches with funny little names for the specials like "The Alexander," a greek inspired selection, or for breakfast the "Egg-skewz me?," an egg, maple ham, swiss, tomato, and onion on a bagel treat.
