I have mixed feelings. I really like the building, the neighborhood, and the building management personnel have been very responsive and supportive. However, one month after moving into the building I got my bike stolen from the bike room (it had a heavy duty lock), so there's obvious safety issues, and also, after 5 pm if you get locked out of your apartment, even though there's a help line for after hours, no one helps you get into your apartment unless you call a locksmith. I have lived in the building for many years and found the management very responsive to our community and individual needs. The building and team are the best of its kind in the Nation’s Capital.

Patrick, the maintenance technician, is always very friendly and polite whenever I see him in the building. He's approachable and a great presence to have around. Overall I love the customer service and he does an outstanding job and makes sure things are done in timely manner.

I recently did a walk-in tour at The Rodney and was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming and helpful the staff was. Candice showed me a 1-bedroom unit and she was absolutely wonderful,friendly, knowledgeable, and patient with all my questions. The apartment itself was clean, well-lit, and I especially liked how close the building is to the Red Line, which would make commuting a breeze. Unfortunately, the unit I toured didn’t have in-unit laundry, which is a must-have for me, so I’ll need to keep looking. That said, if in-un... read more
