We recently moved into a 1br at The Rodney from The Sedgewick, and Elisha was so incredibly helpful throughout the entire process! We love The Rodney, it’s extremely quiet and everyone we’ve met here so far has been so nice. The package lockers are extremely helpful and management is always so quick to respond to any question I might have. Thank you so much Elisha for always being so helpful and prompt with responses!!!
I’ve lived at the Rodney for almost 2 years and have really appreciated how quick the management and maintenance teams are to respond to any issues. When I first moved in, we had a few maintenance requests and Patrick always resolved them same-day or next-day. Elisha on the management team is incredibly understanding to any concerns we have had and always communicates quickly and openly. It’s a great apartment in an ideal location and feels like a small community.
Got our bikes stolen after a month of living here..stolen from the bike room which requires a fob to access.. plus access through the laundry room to get to the bike room (which also requires a fob).. the camera recording, according to management, was either "glitchy" or just didn't capture anything, or the video was not available. Poor security and management accountability, completely unreliable. Obviously they were covering something.
I have mixed feelings. I really like the building, the neighborhood, and the building management personnel have been very responsive and supportive. However, one month after moving into the building I got my bike stolen from the bike room (it had a heavy duty lock), so there's obvious safety issues, and also, after 5 pm if you get locked out of your apartment, even though there's a help line for after hours, no one helps you get into your apartment unless you call a locksmith. I have lived in the building for many years and found the management very responsive to our community and individual needs. The building and team are the best of its kind in the Nation’s Capital.
