This hotel has not changed in the 3.5 years since we were last here. Everything says that the rooms are renovated, but ours was not, the lobby is the same. I had to carry luggage up 3 flights because there were no elevators. There are holes in walls,1 open outlet but no table or furniture near it. Bathrooms haven't been remodeled since the hotel was built. the is a 5" gap under the door because the entire room in at a 20 degree angle. I attended Faith Fitzgerald &David Moore's wedding and reception here today. The Resort on Mt Charleston appears to be renovating

Went out with family to go get lunch the menu here is extremely limited and I specifically asked certain questions because there was a food allergy and a cancer concern and our hostess..... OMG—well let’s just say I was extremely disappointed. I was not at all impressed with this, far from it and our service was very disappointing I wouldn’t even rate it with a star!! -3 stars!! 😡
Thankfully this place has new owners and they are slowly working on the years of neglect this place has suffered! They’ve got a ways to go but they will get there!
The fireplace in the lobby plus free hot beverages are the perfect recovery from cold, outdoor activities. Rooms are clean, spacious and the staff are very helpful. Great family atmosphere and dog friendly.
