I had to cancel my trip in March due to Covid. It is almost July, and I have been trying to get a refund since March. They keep giving me the same response, instructing me to send an email. I was so excited to try this hotel, but I will never book it again. If you have booked this hotel and have to cancel for any reason, just know that you will have a hard time getting your money back.
Let me start by saying this. This is a great hotel customer service has been quite superior, if I might say. They aren’t as responsive, when you leave the call light is on for room service. I left my light on for my room to be made up, no one in housekeeping responded. Also my biggest pet peeve is roaches. There is a huge roach in the light fixture above the shower. Also when I woke up there was one dead in front of the bathtub.
Due to Covid, we were unable to leave our province or country. At first the Redbury were very accommodating. They emailed right away guaranteeing a credit - but needed more time to figure out the logistics of a refund. They contacted us and said that a refund is available. We followed their instructions to receive our refund. ON MARCH 28th our cancellation was approved and we patiently waited the 30 days to allow for the refund to be processed. 30 days later - no refund. I couldn't even contact them. Beautiful little spot across the beach in Miami. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, great amenities, beautiful room, comfy bed and linens, comfy lounge chairs at the beach. I would stay here again and highly recommend to other travelers.
This is our first day here, from the minute we walked in the welcome is so warm and friendly such lovely people. The room is lovely and spacious. Pure excellence!
I absolutely enjoyed my stay at The Redbury. The staff was AWESOME!! Alex was great. He gave suggestions on where to go to eat and supplied us with a map of the area. The rooms are spacious, and those bathrooms...wow! The Redbury is within walking distance of food, shopping and the beach. If I ever return to Miami, I’ll be staying at The Redbury.
