While chatting with some friends at Eddie's Attic in Decatur, somebody mentioned The Red Eyed Mule and proclaimed that they made the best burger in the Atlanta area. Realizing that they were only a couple miles from work I decided to give them a try. I have stopped in there a couple of times for breakfast. I found them to have extremely fast and friendly service. The sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit was delicious and almost more than I could eat. I am looking forward to my first chance to make it in for lunch.
Most amazing biscuit I've ever had! My boyfriend had cheesy grits and eggs- grits were amazing! Hasbrowns were super flavorful-unlike any ive had anywhere elae. Service was friendly and fast. Fresh seedless blackberry jam for the biscuits! Cant wait to come back on our next trip! Only negative was the ham was too salty for me(and i love salt) but the applewood bacon made up for it
Great burger, great comfortable atmosphere. Excellent customer service. I love the very casual community seating. I will be back.

The owners are so nice and the food is superb!! My husband and I went for breakfast -- our bellys left very happy.
Great Burger! Great atmosphere! Everyone should put this place on their weekly lunch rotation.
Went for lunch. It was Ok. Had a burger and the lady with me had a different burger. I guess we're just the odd balls out there because we just didn't like it. The staff was friendly and no complaints about the service, but the burgers were too greasy for our taste. Again, it is not that is was bad, but it isn't a place I would want to try again. Maybe the breakfast is better and that is something I can try later on. Hate to give a bad review but it just wasn't what I liked.
I have not had a chili slaw burger this good since I was in the Marine Corps in North Carolina at a little place on the cherrypoint base called Andy's restaurant. I'm going to try to come back next week and try the breakfast
