Homemade biscuit and grits was delicious! My husband had the chicken and waffles and that was also yummy as well.
Never a bad breakfast, lunch or brunch. Everything's outstanding. Try some of the less obvious choices such as the chicken salad which very well may be the best in the metro area and when available, the smoked meat loaf. All the people associated with this gem are outstanding! Since it's just down the road from the hospital, it's my automatic "go to" after my 12 hr fast and blood draw!!
Bold coffee, friendly service, creamy grits, cozy atmosphere and wonderful biscuits.
Sassy senorita is the best burger around, gotta have one when I am in town.
The burgers and sweet potato fries are outstanding. The staff treat you like you've just wandered into their kitchen (you kinda have!) and nothing but the best down-home hospitality will do.

What a cool little joint! I had breakfast and will come back to try the lunches, but the biscuit was awesome and the cheese grits rocked my world. YUMMY!
