Cool place, great food and value – My boyfriend and I ate here on a Friday night and we had a great experience- our server was sweet and attentive, the food was fun to make... and for $6, you can get a great cocktail or a martini, not like other pretentious places in Atlanta that charge $10 and up for a martini. The vibe was cheerful and upbeat, we had a great time!
A new casual place to dine – I consider myself a frequent diner in Atlanta. I've been to all the new/old places and I have to say, I'm glad I stumbled upon this place. I was looking for something a little more casual and someplace that wouldn't break the bank. The drinks are cheap, my martini was $6 and the create-your-own stir-fry was reasonable as well at $11.99. If you looking for someplace fun to hang out with a group, or just you and a friend, you should check out this place. We went on a Thursday night and waited about... read more
Worst restauraunt experience Ever – Service terrible - Not friendly, had to beg to get water. My date got the wrong wine and the glass had lipstick on it - not a smudge, an entire lower lip mark in red. Food was average - I have cereal bowls bigger than the ones they give you to fill up. Ran out of mushrooms before 8 on a Friday night - Ummm...ever hear of a grocery store? If going to a crowded place because you heard it was hip and getting food you could easily cook yourself is your idea of a great dining experince then thi... read more
Hip but not too hip for me – Went with a group of folks on a Weds night. Place was packed and full of "beautiful" people you might see in a night club on CSI: Miami. Very intimidating at first as I was very casually dressed (shorts and flip flops) but the server was very cool and friendly. He went over the protocol and we we're on our way. I put together a jambalaya dish and then a rice and fish combo on my second trip. Very good! For $11 or $12, ya gotta try it! We did have to wait about 10 minutes to be seated but we had 8... read more
Great find in Atlanta! – I have been here several times and love it. The area of town is a bit shady, but on the brink of major development. This is the "soon-to-be" area of Atlanta. The free valet parking helps with the feeling of the area. The food is great! There is a bit of a wait on weekend nights but a good steady crowd on other nights with little to no wait. Ask for Donald he is very fun!! This is not your cheesy Mongolian BBQ place. This is a great economical dinning option for good friends who just want to have a gr... read more
CHOW DOWN at CHOW BABY – I dont typically do buffett style restaurants and I am a very picky eater. When I heard about a New Restaurant in town that lets me build and create my own meals I was all about it. From the Free Valet parking to the Cheap drinks. You can't complain about the food b/c you make it yourself. You design the bowl and they do the rest. The Mojitos are awesome, along with the large seclection of Asian Beers. The staff is very pleasant and the ambiance is great. Check it out, your wallet and stomach will th... read more
good food, mediocre service and atmosphere – i was very excited when i heard about this restaurant. i convinced some friends to go, and the food was good. however, the wait took way longer than necessary, as there were a ton of seats open, and the service was fairly bad. no one was rude, but the staff was pretty non-existent. the ambience wasn't what i had imagined. i thought that it would be a bit more artsy or swanky, but it was just kind of loud and boring with terrible techno music. however, the food was good and cheap, ... read more
good food and good value – Finally, Atlanta gets a mongolian bbq restaurant. You basically make your own recipe, and let them cook it. There is a wide variety of meats, veggies, spices, and powders. Solid value if you eat a lot, especially the lunch for $7.99 because it's the same stuff as dinner. Probably not a good place for a first date, considering what a buffet can do to your stomach.
My Only "10" Rating Ever – I had to write a review on this restauramt. It was one of the most awesome places I have ever eaten. The atmosphere was great, the food was great, and the service was the best I've had in the past 10 years. We arrived about 5:30 pm on Friday night and our large party of 10 was seated right away. The bartender made us our first drinks at the bar and recommended some of their house drinks to us. We then moved on to dinner. We had 70 items to choose from for dinner. We created a meal from the food bar... read more
