Good but parking garage area not safe – Food was good we enjoyed it. However, if I can be in a restaurant for 45 minutes and have my car broken into along with 2 other cars it's not worth it. They busted 3 car windows all in the same row. Nothing of real value taken but having to deal with replacing a car window is a little much. What's even worse is that a maintenance worker was in the garage and said the restaurant has been asked a number of times to install cameras and the building would connect them to their system but r... read more
Don't Bother – We've been looking for a Mongolian Barbeque place and were excited to hear about Chow Baby. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. There was no parking unless you wanted to wait 5 minutes for their ONE valet attendant to take your keys. Both employees at the front door were extremely rude and the place was freezing. The food was just so-so and definitely not worth the money unless you are one of those people who will stand in the 10 minute line several times and truly eat all you can eat. Good try but, next... read more
Yummy yummy in my tummy – After hearing many mixed reviews from our friends and co-workers we headed out to Chow Baby this last Saturday night. I must say I understand what the fuss is all about. Our friends (though we kind of knew already) are shut-ins. They wouldn't know a good time. GREAT music, fun servers, awesome selection of food to stir fry. We were very impressed. The crowd of people huddled around waiting to sit down somehow kinda made the experience unique. Definitely a place to take anyone wanting to kick back an... read more
OK. Not Excited – I like the concept, but it is poorly executed.Too much of a chain feel. It was fresh, but just not great. Very disorganized.
Mixed – My girlfriend and I met some friends at The Real Chow Baby on 8/21 and I have to give it mixed reviews. The quality of the food and the prices are good, leaning towards excellent. However, the restaurant was very crowded and noisy, between the crowd and the music that they turned up the volume on in an attempt to make it audible over the crowd. This distracted us from the atmosphere, so instead of enjoying the food, we felt claustrophobic and rushed. Instead of a pleasant evening of conversation over food with friend... read more
It was a wonderful experience for me and my friends ! – My friends and I were planning to have a good dining experience and we found one ! Good thing my friend Danny suggested your restaurant . It was very good experience . thank you so much ! See you soon i guess :-)
No longer Chow Baby. It is now called Big Chow Grill. – The restaurant is trying to be a Chow Baby dupe. Be warned, it's not. The restaurant changed overnight from The Real Chow Baby to Big Chow Grill. They claim to be "just like Chow Baby" but is not even close. The restaurant looks the same but the food is not even close. Waste of money.
It's good, but we've experienced better – We dropped by to this restaurant to pacify our hungry stomachs. The first thing we noticed was the type of service this restaurant had to offer. We were not really happy with the wait staff as they were not attentive and made us wait a long time. But the food was excellent. It was thoroughly prepared. If it was not for the food, I will definitely give it 2 stars.
service not up to par – The line can be long but the food is good. I just had a problem with the wait staff - they were very rude and took a long time to refill our drinks. We had to keep waving to get their attention.
The Real Chow Baby has a 4.2 star rating with 143 reviews.
The Real Chow Baby is closed now. It will open at 11:00 a.m.
